About the Role

Clinpath Pathology is seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following quality control procedures
  • Operate laboratory equipment and perform basic laboratory tests
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • Current certification in phlebotomy or a related field
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn laboratory software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
