The Role

As a Principal Advisor, you will provide critical support to the delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP).

  • Monitoring and reporting on financial and physical progress of projects and program delivery against established performance indicators.
  • Auditing project compliance against statewide systems and processes.
  • Providing specialist advice to ensure program development aligns with government priorities and outcomes.
  • Fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cooperation and coordination.
  • Researching and writing project communications, reports, briefing notes, and submissions on behalf of the Director.

You will work closely with the Director to coordinate updates on project activities and initiatives, ensuring business outcomes, performance indicators, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and stakeholder management.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for enhancements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of strategic plans and policies that shape the future of transportation in Queensland.
