About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with EA experience to join our high-performing secretary team within the Government Advisory group. Our team advises on a range of local and state government organisations in administrative law, dispute resolution, contracting, and procurement and tendering.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings and internal/external functions
- Open and close matters, including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert and iManage systems
- Enter time and prepare high-volume billing
- Create, draft, edit, and format legal correspondence and documents
- Reconcile expenses for authors on a monthly basis
- Perform general administrative tasks
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- EA experience
- Understanding of legal terminology
- Competent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of Aderant Expert (advantageous)
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work within set timeframes
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in diary management
- A personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition
