Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our educational team at Wandong Primary School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students in various educational settings, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing specific support tasks to achieve outcomes, such as maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting teachers within an educational program by undertaking specific support tasks or coordinating the support function
  • Supervising health and wellbeing support tasks, medical intervention support tasks, or other specialized student/teacher support roles

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks
  2. Capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment
  3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  4. Ability to provide advice and support to management and other school staff
