The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available at our Australian site.

As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient setup and changeover of dies on die-cutting equipment to meet production requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring proper alignment, tension, and setup of dies for accurate and precise cutting. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will enable you to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient setup and changeover of dies on die-cutting equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure proper alignment, tension, and setup of dies for accurate and precise cutting.
  • Complete basic calibration of Easy Benders (Nozzles Guide, Length, Radii).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to die setup and machine calibration.
  • Conduct quality checks on die-cut samples to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality standards and minimize waste.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A good working knowledge of Benders/Cutters both mechanically and software.
  • Technical training or certification in die setting or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with die-cutting equipment and related tools.
  • Attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate and high-quality production.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
