About the Program

The program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of a top-tier commercial law firm. It consists of three sessions:

  • Session 1: A panel discussion where participants will learn about the firm's structure and areas of practice.
  • Session 2: A hands-on session where participants will meet partners and junior lawyers to gain insights into their experiences as legal professionals.
  • Session 3: An exclusive insight into the clerkship recruitment process, providing participants with valuable tips and advice.

Total time commitment: approximately 6 hours across 3 sessions.

Upon completion of the program, participants will have gained a solid understanding of a top-tier commercial law firm and acquired exclusive insight into the recruitment process. They will also become part of the program's alumni network.

What You'll Learn

This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the kind of lawyer you want to be and gain meaningful insights into the different practice areas within the firm. Participants will engage in engaging conversations with lawyers across the firm, improving their confidence and gaining a taste of the firm's culture.

Eligibility

The program is open to university students who are in their pre-penultimate year of their degree (i.e., 3rd year undergraduate or 1st year JD).

Participants must demonstrate a genuine interest in gaining insight into a career in corporate or commercial law.
