About the Role
This fast-paced and interesting role offers the opportunity to utilize your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional, and sound approach. Duties include:
- Observing activities associated with asset protection
- Monitoring CCTV footage and radio communication systems
- Providing first aid and liaising with Police & Emergency Response Services
- Reviewing camera footage and writing reports
- Conducting foot patrols throughout the premises
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Open driver's license
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- High-level computer literacy skills
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Australian Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain
