The Stockroom Team Lead role is a critical position within the retail operation.

  • It plays a pivotal role in delivering key performance indicators relating to stock management, inventory control and team empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive profitability by receiving, handling and managing merchandise inventory in a timely, efficient and organized manner.
  2. Lead and develop the stockroom team to ensure effective stock control at all times.
  3. Evaluate and implement shrink strategies on an ongoing basis to minimize losses.
  4. Ensure Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices are adhered to within the stockroom and store environment.
  5. Manage the stores stocktake process with accuracy and precision.
  6. Review and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency across the store.

About the Role:

This role requires previous experience in fast-paced physical environments, proven ability to perform under pressure, passion for the retail industry and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed attention to detail, sound knowledge of health and safety regulations, experience in managing budgets, interpreting financial reports and roster planning.
