Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development department, you will be responsible for advancing new developmental projects and providing operational and supply chain support.

This role requires effective communication of project updates to inform tactical decision-making and drive projects to completion. The incumbent must demonstrate adaptability, resourcefulness, collaboration, and accountability in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead research projects that deliver business results.
  • Supervise multiple project activities through a defined product development process.
  • Oversee the design of experiments to evaluate and optimize performance attributes.
  • Understand process capability, design selection criteria, and structure-property relationships.
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical and experimental activities.
  • Presents work cross-functionally to facilitate discussion of project management.
  • Explores conceptual ideas to prove or disprove concepts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or polymer science.
  • 4+ years' experience in at least 3 of the following technologies:
    • PU technology - including MDI and IPDI sealant development.
    • Hybrid technology - silane modified polyurethane development.
    • Butyl technology - mastic and hot-melt development.
    • Water-based technology - polyurethane dispersions development (PUD).
