
Animal Welfare Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Socialising multiple dogs, matching groups according to behaviour and personality
- Cleaning animal enclosures
- Exercising and providing enrichment and husbandry for animals (primarily dogs and cats)
- Feeding and general care for the animals
- Driving pet transport vans and performing office duties

To be considered for this role, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:
- Must be comfortable handling multiple dogs & cats with varying size and temperament
- Superior customer service skills
- Current driver's license and willingness to drive our dedicated Pet Taxi as needed
- Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (inc. Xmas day and New Year)
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
Bonus points if you have experience within an animal-related industry, possess knowledge of animal husbandry, strong understanding of reading & understanding dog behaviour, and/or ability to perform unsupervised tasks.
