Job Title

A Finance Operations professional is required to join our team, focusing on Credit Control.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in managing debtor collections for our National Insurance sections. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners to manage their debtors and collections, forming part of the credit control function.

The role involves liaising with partners to assist with collection of their clients' outstanding debtors, resolving client queries, assisting with rectifying unidentified deposits, and maintaining and improving processes and procedures to control financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage debtor collections for the National Insurance sections via calls and emails
  • Liaise with partners to assist with collection of their clients' outstanding debtors
  • Resolve client queries
  • Assist with rectifying unidentified deposits
  • Maintain and improve processes and procedures to control financial transactions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in credit control, preferably within a professional services firm
  • Experience with debtor collections for insurance clients is highly desirable
  • A strong track record in reducing debt with a focus on cash in the bank
  • Good decision-making skills when collecting debtors
  • The proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Strong customer service focus

  • Excellent organisation skills and an ability to plan and prioritise
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
