About your role Are you a strategic finance leader ready to drive and develop a high performing commercial and supply chain finance team to deliver and support commercial outcomes and influence business performance at the highest level across Australia and New Zealand?
This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment This newly created role reporting to Deputy CFO is a key member of IXOM Finance .
You will lead the Commercial and Supply Chain Finance agenda, focusing on both Value Drivers (sales, markets, product, service) and Enablers (information, capability, process, and technology), ensuring finance is at the heart of decision-making.
You will also lead excellence in financial analysis, pricing and robust frameworks and processes.
Key Responsibilities Ownership of the P&L and commercial cashflow outcomes for the ANZ Group Build and mentor a high-performing commercial and supply chain finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Support key growth projects (with strategy team) including growth capex projects and acquisitions / divestments Provide strategic commercial leadership to support capital-intensive operations and long-term investment decisions.
Drive commercial decision-making through financial insight, data analysis, and identification of growth and efficiency opportunities.
Lead the delivery of short- and long-term business performance objectives, including margin, operating costs, profit, working capital, capex, and cash flow.
Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team to align financial strategy with business goals and performance.
Lead the commercial aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, including support for capital projects, acquisitions, and divestments.
Establish and embed group-wide financial KPIs and investment decision frameworks (e.g. RONA, ROCE), and sponsor enabling technologies and processes.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance or business administration CPA or CA professional qualification / license 10+ years in senior finance roles including commercial or supply chain finance and with the last 2 years having demonstrated experience working with Leadership teams Demonstrated success in developing and leading a commercial and/or supply chain business partnering finance team Excellent commercial acumen and proven experience in business growth success Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and drive successful business outcomes Strong analytical and business (financial) modelling skills Proven experience in managing, engaging and motivating a team, communication direction and developing talent and capabilities Proven ability to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to improve business performance Benefits at IXOM For a start, you'll work for a large global organisation, where you'll not only earn a competitive salary, but you'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program, a recognition program, and a range of health and wellness benefits and discounts.
