Financial Transaction Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations, and supplier onboarding.
About the Role- This is a key position within our finance team, requiring strong organizational and time management skills;
- You will work closely with accountants to ensure seamless end-to-end processes and meet deadlines;
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is attached;
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies;
- Onboard new suppliers, updating records and maintaining data accuracy;
- Support the accounting team with tasks such as EFT and cheque payments;
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounts payable or a related field;
- Proficient MS Office skills, with intermediate Excel skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines;
- Customer-focused, results-driven, with a passion for excellence and a can-do attitude;
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
