About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the management and development of the City's property portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the Land Asset Action Plan and Strategic Community Plan initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strategic plans to maximise the City's property portfolio, taking into account its assets and liabilities.
  • Assist in land tenure agreements and property transactions, working closely with other business units.
  • Support the implementation of property policies and management practices, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Conduct research to enhance property projects, providing valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on property matters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field, preferably in a local government setting.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
  • Familiarity with legal planning agreements and land tenure arrangements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
