Project Scheduler Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our dynamic project delivery team. The Scheduler will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance, and engineering projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6, providing accurate progress reporting, and supporting project managers and stakeholders with critical planning insights. Key responsibilities include:

  • Schedule Development and Maintenance: Developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Project Planning Support: Supporting project planning activities from initiation through execution and closeout.
  • Progress Reporting: Preparing baseline schedules, progress updates, forecasts, and look-ahead plans.
  • Schedule Analysis: Analysing critical paths, float, resource allocation, and schedule risks.
  • Clear Communication: Providing clear, accurate schedule reporting to project managers, site teams, and clients.
  • Project Tracking: Tracking and reporting on project progress, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams to maintain realistic schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to continuous improvement in project controls processes.

Suitable candidates will have proven experience as a Project Scheduler within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Industrial Services sectors, strong proficiency in Primavera P6, and demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance projects. A degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is desirable, along with Primavera P6 training/certification and Oil & Gas industry experience.
