Job Opportunity:
Responsibilities and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, with a focus on billing and collections. This includes generating accurate invoices, reconciling charges, and collecting accounts receivable from various sources. Additionally, the candidate should be able to audit claims daily to respond to rejections, denials, and short-pays.
- Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, along with experience in collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with practice management EHR Medical Billing System and ability to review and post Remittance Advice are also required.
- Negotiation skills with insurance companies and courts are necessary for timely collections.
- Associate's degree in accounting or a related field
- Experience posting and balancing payments
- Experience billing Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans for medical services
The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate a commitment to providing quality health and human services to medically underserved and low-income populations in a culturally sensitive manner.
