
Lead Claims Resolution Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented multitasker to join our Australian team as Claims Specialist.
The focus of this role is to manage Financial Lines, General Liability and Cyber claims from notification through to resolution by providing professional, prompt and courteous service to broker clients and stakeholders.
- Provide detailed threshold coverage analysis and advice, particularly where there may be issues of characterization, policy interpretation, exclusion operation or disclosure issues.
- Timely and courteous verbal and written reviews and responses to broker clients.
- Work with key legal partnerships to investigate and determine liability, quantum and a tailored strategy for resolution.
- Establish timely and accurate reserves.
- Instruct, direct and closely manage key legal partnerships on claims where appropriate.
- Attend broker and client meetings to proactively discuss claims narrative and outcomes.
- Attend mediation where required.
- Discuss claims and defence strategy with Head of Financial Lines Claims and team leads.
- Liaise with third party administrators in relation to notifications.
- Discuss all aspects of past and current claims with Underwriters and provide advice on renewal and new business where appropriate.
- Assist Underwriters where appropriate in obtaining new business and maintaining existing broker relationships.
- Engage with multi-participant tower insurer markets.
- Participate and provide Underwriter training where appropriate.
- Provide timely and accurate internal updates and advice on your individual claims portfolio.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years of Financial Lines claims management experience.
- Confidence in delivering high-level service to clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims and enquiries with ease.
- Extensive experience in coverage analysis and policy interpretation.
- Experience in Australian litigation and dispute resolution.
