Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to manage the program's inbox and register for grant-related correspondence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing grant opportunity guidelines and supporting artefacts, conducting eligibility assessments of applicants, and providing support in assessment and grant awarding/reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop grant opportunity guidelines and supporting artefacts
  • Conduct eligibility assessments of applicants based on grant guidelines
  • Provide support in assessment and grant awarding/reporting processes
  • Assist in providing policy and program support to the team and executives
Requirements
  • Experience in planning and administering a grant program is desirable
  • Understanding of Commonwealth Grants Framework, Rules, Guidelines and PGPA Act
  • Familiarity with SmartyGrants grant administration platform
  • Experience in International Policy area, Government or Non-Government sector

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Federal Government Department and contribute to the success of the grant program. The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12-month contract with an additional 2 x 12-month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate with some flexible working arrangements.
