Job Title

Matter management plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our legal teams and supporting offices worldwide. As a matter management analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and matter data within our practice management system.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders including legal teams and business development staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the maintenance of client and matter data is accurate and up-to-date within the practice management system.
  • Work closely with legal teams and business development staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including secretaries and other New Business Intake teams.
  • Liaise with business finance, risk management, and tax teams as required.
  • Assist in the transition of legacy practice management data into updated structures.
Requirements
  • Ideally educated to degree level or qualified in risk and compliance (or other related analytical field).
  • Previous experience in the legal sector, risk and compliance, or other related analytical fields is highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use initiative and be proactive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and committed team member.
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
  • Takes personal responsibility for getting things done.
  • Intelligent and commercially-minded.
