Key Responsibilities- Lead Testing Design and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement testing strategies and methodologies to ensure the quality of our data products throughout the environments from source systems to access provisioning.
- Liaise with Project Teams: Collaborate with project teams as an internal specialist consultant to interpret testing requirements and provide leadership, advice, and communicate testing outcomes.
- Implement Quality Testing Methods: Ensure the implementation of quality testing methods to align with best practice ICT testing frameworks, encompassing strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools, and standards.
- Develop Test Strategy and Test Plan: Create project Test Strategy and Test Plan(s) within a requirements and risks-based testing and assurance framework.
- Manage Various Types of Testing: Oversee various types of testing in line with the Test Strategy, including the provision of test environment, technical support, and documentation reviews.
- Expert Advice and Guidance: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialties and provide expert advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Lead Review of Technical and Business Design Requirements: Lead the review of technical and business design requirements and identify alternative solutions.
- Manage ICT Testing Resource Requirements: Manage ICT testing resource requirements according to project schedules to meet project milestones.
- Demonstrated Experience in Data Warehouse Testing: Proven experience working in the data warehouse performing testing on data products.
- Excellent Understanding of Testing Methodologies: Demonstrated experience in the planning of system and acceptance tests and an excellent understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques within a large, complex IM/ICT program/project environment.
- Implementation of Quality Testing Methods: Demonstrated experience in the implementation of quality testing methods and frameworks to ensure the integrity of testing and an ability to develop project test strategies, test products, and cases.
- Phases of Testing: Demonstrated experience in all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables, and auditability for large, complex IM/ICT program/project environments.
- Relationship Development: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal project stakeholders and external technology vendors to partner with and engage them in delivering required IM/ICT outcomes.
- High-Level Analytical Skills: Demonstrated high-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment.
- Leadership and Management: Ability to lead, manage, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team.
