Electrical Facilities Engineer

Electrical facilities engineers are the backbone of ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems. In this critical role, you will serve as a vital interface between various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

  • Establish strong working relationships with USG representatives at all levels;
  • Oversee project delivery to meet customer requirements on time, within budget and to the specified quality;
  • Review and provide comments on project proposals;
  • Plan, coordinate and execute complex electrical tasks;
  • Develop and manage electrical project plans, conduct design reviews and secure project approvals;
  • Compile status reports, project schedules and cost estimates;
  • Supervise factory acceptance testing and participate in root cause analysis following an electrical anomaly;
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one;
  • At least 10 years of experience in facility operations with a focus on electrical systems;
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architectural field;
  • Familiarity with government operations and procedures;
  • Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures;
  • Experience related to low and medium voltage power distribution systems in commercial and/or industrial settings;
  • Ability to produce rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates for facility project planning and programming;
  • Capacity to manage multiple resources and competing priorities;
  • Demonstrated project management skills associated with managing performance, budget and schedules;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with industry partners.
