Electronics Expertise Opportunity

RMIT is seeking an Electronics Expert to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School.

  • You will be expected to teach and conduct research in disciplines related to electronic engineering, with a focus on micro-nano electronics and developing next-generation brain-inspired sensors and processing systems.
  • This opportunity also involves making a significant contribution to the delivery of programs and being actively involved in research, consulting, and other professional activities.

Key Selection Criteria:

Level B (Electronics Expert)
  • An emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs in micro-nano electronics and developing next-generation brain-inspired sensors and processing systems and related areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in electronic, embedded systems, and computer engineering areas.
Level C (Senior Electronics Expert)
  • Nationally recognised research track record in micro-nano electronics and developing next-generation brain-inspired sensors and processing systems and related areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and teach large courses in electronic, embedded systems, and computer engineering areas; and to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with high-quality curriculum and program materials.

The Department hosts internationally recognised academics and supports over 50 researchers through significant grant funding.
