Job Opportunity: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electronics design engineer to join our team. As a senior contributor to our hardware design team, you will be responsible for professionally engaging in electronic project design and development activities.

  • Design and develop electronic products from concept to manufacture
  • Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the hardware team through training and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Maintain quality standards by adhering to our company's quality management system
Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Professionally engaging in electronic project design and development activities including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, pcb artwork, verification, test and manufacture
  • Acting as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams
  • Contributing to the development of the hardware team through improving your own capabilities and developing junior colleagues
  • Ensuring that quality standards are met in line with the company's quality management system
  • Performing effective estimation of current and potential work for the hardware team
  • Performing technical reviews for hardware designs and documents
  • Acting as technical contact to clients and project managers for any electronics design related matters
  • Contributing to improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in electronics design engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of quality management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout software
