Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting reactive break fix servicing, routine maintenance, installation, commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance on electronic security systems
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic security systems
  • Work with various electronic security systems, including access control and CCTV products
  • Record and report system activity using mobile devices
  • Participate in a rotational on-call roster
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or residency
  • Security licence issued by the Victorian government
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in quality trade skills and techniques
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Attention to detail and strong report writing skills
  • Ability to obtain necessary site clearances and licenses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current NV1 clearance or ability to obtain
  • Australian Government Security Clearance
  • Cabling licence issued by the ACMA
  • ICT networking skills
  • License to operate elevated work platforms (EWP)
  • Fault identification, isolation, repair, and reporting on systems installed and managed by us
  • Effective data and documentation management
  • Strong report writing skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to perform cabling, fit-off, and commissioning of electronic security systems
