About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team at Recooty. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed designs for civil engineering projects, utilizing a variety of materials and technologies.
  • Inspect project sites to ensure they meet relevant codes and are progressing properly.
  • Forecast design and construction time frames, and analyze photographs, drawings, and maps to inform the direction of projects.
  • Analyze and adjust quantity calculations for practical and budgetary purposes.
  • Ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality.
  • Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs, scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.
  • Undertake technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations, and manage budgets and project resources.
  • Resolve design and development problems, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Solid Windows-based operating system knowledge and skills.
  • Microsoft Project or Primavera experience would be beneficial.
  • Solid communication, telephone, and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Analytical and observation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • An interest in developing both technical and project management skills.
  • Current Victorian Driver's License.
