Real Estate & Construction Associate

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your practice in the Real Estate and Construction team. Our Canberra office is looking for a skilled and experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our dynamic and supportive two-partner team.

We are seeking someone who can work collaboratively with both partners and other team members, focused on delivering high-quality results across a range of matters for government and private sector clients.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of overseeing the work of junior members of the team, managing client relationships, and ensuring ongoing work needs are met.

  • Strong preference for property experience in the ACT or NSW
  • Experience in property transactional work including acquisitions and disposals, commercial and office leasing, property advisory, planning and environment regulation and approvals, procurement of property and construction-related goods and services
  • Experience advising on construction, planning law and procurement matters is welcomed but not essential
  • Experience working on advising government is highly regarded

You must be enthusiastic and willing to work on a variety of matters, possess a keen eye for detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate sound matter management.
