Job Description

As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and business opportunities for our organisation. Your main responsibilities will include identifying new markets, building relationships with corporate clients, developing partnerships, and working closely with our training delivery teams to ensure alignment with client needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand the organisation's client base.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, industry leaders, and community partners.
  • Presenting and promoting our services to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Developing tailored training solutions that meet client needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to create strategic growth plans.
  • Maintaining and growing existing client relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-up.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Achieving set sales targets and KPIs.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the education or training industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector and RTO operations preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for education and continuous learning.
  • A valid driver's license.
