Lead Testing Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Testing Strategist to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across multiple projects.

About This Role
  • Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Establish master test plans, test entry/exit quality gates, defect triage and reporting, and risk templates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to define test coverage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate testing efforts and allocate resources effectively.
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers (manual and automation) across multiple projects.
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Automation & Tools:
    • Support automated testers to design, develop, and maintain test frameworks and scripts.
    • Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Test Execution & Reporting:
    • Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
    • Track and report on test progress, defect metrics, and quality KPIs.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
    • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to go/no-go release decisions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in testing, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to define test strategies and align them with project goals and timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing and integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to champion a growth mindset.
