Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Estimator to join our construction team in South Australia.

This is a pivotal role that requires a high level of technical expertise, strong analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project documentation and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

  • Proven experience as a Civil Estimator, preferably at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of civil and commercial construction projects within South Australia
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical specifications
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil and commercial projects
  2. Review and analyze project documentation, including drawings and specifications
  3. Develop strategic pricing models in line with market conditions
  4. Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate prices and build strong relationships
  5. Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities within project scopes
