We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a school-based trainee. This role offers the opportunity to develop customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members and guests at our restaurants. The role involves a range of duties associated with food and café service, including waiting duties, basic food preparation, barista duties, and maintaining floor cleanliness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded at all times.
  2. Food and Beverage Service: Wait tables and deliver food to patrons, while also preparing basic food items such as sandwiches and desserts.
  3. Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  4. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Maintain floor cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our customers.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring that our high standards of service are consistently met.
