School-Based Trainee Opportunity in Retail

We are seeking high school students to complete a nationally recognised qualification in business or retail while gaining work experience and participating in formal training.

Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, assisting with stock management, and ensuring the store is clean and tidy. As a School Based Trainee, you will be required to attend a regular traineeship shift during your school week, which will continue through school holidays. During these shifts, you will have time to complete both practical and theoretical training that contributes to your certificate.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be currently in year 10 or 11
  • Be able to work one full school day each week for the duration of the traineeship
  • Have the confidence to provide outstanding customer service
  • Have an energetic and outgoing personality
  • Be committed to completing the work/training requirements of this traineeship
