Environmental Infrastructure Specialist

As a highly skilled Environmental Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our data centers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with suppliers to ensure seamless operations, identifying potential hazards, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert in one area of environmental infrastructure operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators) and work independently on advanced projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment to identify any signs of wear or damage and escalate concerns according to established protocols.
- Utilize an internal computerized maintenance management system to track equipment assets and complete work orders for maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to incidents that impact operations, coordinate with other professionals to perform corrective repairs, and document lessons learned to inform future procedures.
- Develop, enhance, or follow existing emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures related to environmental infrastructure and incident response.
- Perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following established protocols for one or more types of equipment.
- Demonstrate a hands-on understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting capabilities within their trained discipline.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security requirements to perform work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
