Job Title: Support Services ManagerAbout the Role

The Support Services Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing casework services in Clarence Valley to support children and young people in Intensive Therapeutic Care, Foster Care, and Kinship Care.

This includes managing a team of caseworkers and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key objectives include:

  • Providing operational leadership and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation;
  • Delivering high-quality services to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families;
  • Developing effective relationships with external stakeholders and contributing to the enhancement of specialist casework practices.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Grafton requiring knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as tertiary qualifications in social work or a related field.

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values;
  • Tertiary qualification in social work or a related field;
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in casework, program management, and service development;
  • Able to deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
