Job Summary

The Aquatics Supervisor oversees lifeguards, ensuring health and safety compliance and maintaining a safe aquatic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise lifeguard operations, deployment, rotations, and roster management
  • Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and reporting across all aquatic operations
  • Conduct audits of lifeguards and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the leadership team
  • Act as a member of the emergency response team, providing direction during incidents and participating in emergency response activities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of comprehensive aquatic risk management programs and international lifeguard training standards
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality training for aquatic team members
  • Recruit, train, and develop lifeguard staff in alignment with industry guidelines
Requirements:
  • Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program Special Facilities Lifeguard License
  • Alive Solutions Dispatch Smart certification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Fluent English language skills
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor License
  • Tertiary Degree in Business / Recreation and Sports Management
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in waterpark or similar working environment
