About the Role
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides clinical nursing care, allied health and specialist support services to clients who live and/or work in specific Local Government Areas. As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supporting staff to deliver person-centered care for patients accessing CHSP services.
You will ensure that the service meets the required KPIs by the local organization, the Commonwealth and the Ministry of Health, whilst supporting staff in the delivery of care to patients accessing Aged Care Services. This role plays an important part in aligning the service with the changes to support at home from July 2025.

Demonstrated operational, financial, and human resource experience at a middle managerial level is also essential.
You will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement of the service, ensuring it operates in accordance with the CHSP Guidelines and delivers quality client care. Your comprehensive understanding of clinical governance, risk and patient safety when delivering care in the community will be crucial in this role.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $133,112.75 and opportunities for career development across the St Vincent's Health Australia Network. You will also benefit from generous salary packaging and access to a wide range of clinical and non-clinical education programs.
