About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Support Nurse to join our Nursing and Midwifery Education team. As a Clinical Support Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting and facilitating education and training to nursing students on clinical placement in the Residential Aged Care Services at Monash Health.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and education, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with the education team to develop and implement clinical education programs, and provide guidance and support to students on clinical placement.
About You:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Recent relevant clinical experience in nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A sound understanding of clinical supervision, clinical assessment, and advanced clinical skills
- An understanding of different learning and teaching styles
- Experience in clinical education
- Completion of or working towards postgraduate qualification in nursing and/or education
