Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing and interpretation of soil and rock materials to produce geotechnical assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with senior engineers to schedule daily/weekly work requirements
  • Manage data using gINT and Jira software
  • Assist with data processing and capture as directed
  • Undertake engineering test pits using hand augers and excavators
  • Supervise drilling operations and perform logging and sampling of soil material
  • Conduct in-situ geotechnical testing such as dynamic cone penetrometer testing and plate load tests
  • Prepare geotechnical reports for review by senior engineers and submission to clients
  • To conduct testing of soil and rock in accordance with Australian Standards and other relevant standards
  • Prepare paperwork for field and laboratory testing
