Field Service Heavy Duty Mechanic Job

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Mt Thorley in New South Wales.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with heavy machinery, exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely unsupervised.

About the Role
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification is required for this position.
  • You must have experience on CAT, Komatsu, mining equipment with exceptional knowledge of engine, powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy duty equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
