About the Position

As a Senior Credit Officer in RISK Corporate, your role involves guaranteeing the independent assessment of credit and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks throughout the credit process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of credit decisions made by Coverage and Business Lines Delegation Holders.
  • Ensuring that all decisions conform to credit and ESG policies, as well as monitoring the credit portfolio under their responsibility.

In this position, you will work closely with various teams to ensure the quality of commitments taken.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the fair valuation of the credit portfolio through the provisioning process.

A key aspect of this role is the accurate rating of corporate clients and exposures, ensuring strong compliance with rating and loss given default (LGD) policies.

Guarantee a Satisfactory Level of Risk Anticipation and Monitoring

Key tasks include:

  • Proactively identifying deteriorating risks using external and internal early warning signals.
  • Detecting potential threats on the portfolio that falls under your responsibility.
  • Proposing and performing periodic and targeted portfolio reviews.
Other Contributions

As a Senior Credit Officer, you will contribute to the strengthening of our overall RISK framework by:

  • Participating in the development of general and specific credit policies.
  • Contributing to the determination of country envelopes and monitoring of utilizations.
  • Validating new products or activities covered by RISK Corporate.
