Aged Care Facility Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aged Care Facility Manager to lead the operational and clinical management of residential aged care facilities in rural and remote Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of organisational policy and government regulations, as well as excellent leadership skills.
- Main Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential aged care facilities, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, ACFI, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, and support staff to promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence in care.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and clinical documentation aligned with current legislation and internal procedures.
Manage facility budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively, and engage with residents, families, staff, and the wider community with compassion and professionalism.
Key Requirements:
At least two years' experience in aged care management, including recent experience as a Facility Manager in a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF).
Demonstrated knowledge of ACFI, aged care funding models, Quality Standards, and accreditation processes.
Current Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or willingness to obtain prior to placement.
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration is highly desirable but not essential.
