We are currently looking for experienced Kitchenhands / Servery staff to work within the main kitchen and serving areas of Aged Care facilities at Toronto and Booragul.These are casual positions, which means your hours will vary from week to week and shifts may be at short notice.The kitchen environments are very busy, so you must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.We are seeking candidates available for the afternoon shifts from 3pm to 7.30pm.Duties include:Greeting residents and offering beveragesTaking food orders from the menu and serving accordinglyFollowing dietary sheets to serve residents the correct meal consistencyPreparing meal trays and delivering them to residents' roomsAssisting with basic food preparationMaking tea, coffee, and cold beveragesHeating food to appropriate levels before servingRecording temperatures of food, fridge, freezers, and dishwasher accuratelyLabeling food and storing it properlyCleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchenSetting up and packing away dining areasWashing and drying dishes, polishing cutlery, and storing correctlyMaintaining high standards of personal presentation and hygieneTo be successful, you should:Have at least 6 months of experience working in a kitchenBe confident working independently at timesProvide two recent work refereesHold a current criminal/police clearance or be willing to obtain one immediatelyHold a current driver's license and have reliable transportIf this sounds like you and you are seeking a casual position with flexible hours, please APPLY now
