Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity

The role of a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of a fleet of buses. SkyBus and Kinetic are expanding their fleet, driven by a team dedicated to excellence.

Maintenance plays a critical part in this success – guaranteeing peak performance through high-quality servicing and maintenance.

A qualified mechanic is sought to join the Sydney Airport team, working on the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the fleet – including new Battery Electric vehicles.

This is a workshop-based role where your skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards will make a real impact every day.

  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buses (including Battery Electric vehicles)
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturer standards
  • Work collaboratively with the Fleet and Workshop team to meet operational deadlines

You'll be part of a high-profile contract at Sydney Airport, work with modern fleet technology, and enjoy job security with a leading transport operator.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
  • Experience in bus, truck, or commercial vehicle maintenance
