We offer a 4 week paid driver training program that will build on your current heavy vehicle skills and knowledge to navigate the roads as a professional Bus Driver.About The RoleWe currently have multiple positions available for Casual Bus Drivers at our Macksville depot.

We currently operate bus service contracts for Transport for NSW in Western Sydney, North Shore and West, Central Coast and North Coast and the South Australian Public Transport Authority in Adelaide's Outer South.
With a team of more than 2,800 people, committed to transporting over 47 million passenger journeys each year, we pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to public transport delivery to ensure that the customer journey is seamless as possible.Hours of workHours of work and shifts vary from depot to depot.
Our casual drivers typically work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon during the school term.
In school holidays there is very limited work available.These hours are often suited to retirees wanting to re-enter the workforce or supplement income.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for people working part-time and wanting more hours.Eligibility to applyA current and valid Medium Rigid or above driver's licenceA good driving historyStrong communication and customer service skillsWilling to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check.Have a current NSW Driver Authority is highly desired (or be willing to obtain one)Suitable applicants that do not have the required licence and authority, Busways may offer you:Paid induction and mentor trainingAttend a Driver Authority Course with Busways and help with the application processApply now
