  • Leading large-scale geospatial projects across QLD and nationally, ensuring seamless delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Experimenting with cutting-edge GIS proof-of-concept solutions, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
  • Exploring novel spatial technologies to fortify our competitive edge.

As a respected technical mentor, you will work closely with our national GIS team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Your guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of our geospatial endeavors.

To succeed in this esteemed position, you must possess:

  • A strong educational background in Geographic Information Science, Geomatic Science/Engineering, or related fields such as Surveying, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • No less than 10 years of experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industries, with a proven track record in implementing large, commercially successful GIS projects.
  • Proficiency in multiple GIS software suites (including Esri, FME, QGIS/open source) and spatial coding/scripting/software development (e.g., Python, R,.Net, JavaScript).
  • Experience in project management or technical leadership roles.
