Job Description

This role offers an ideal opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to grow in the field of gymnastics coaching. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality programs to children aged 8 weeks through to adults, with close to 900 enrolments.

As a Gymnastics Assistant Coach, you will have the chance to develop your skills in coaching children's gymnastics classes across various age groups and levels. You will work closely with experienced coaches and receive training to transition into a Gymnastics Coach position within 4-6 months.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who can work effectively alongside a mentor coach, autonomously on the gym floor, and as part of a team. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, late evenings, and weekends.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Team Working and Communication Skills
  • Experience instructing a class of participants
  • Good interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with children
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities
  • A current CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check
