As a volunteer rowing coach, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive community of students who are passionate about rowing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering rowing sessions under the direction of the Rowing Coordinator and Assistant Rowing Coordinator.
  • You must ensure that students train and compete in a safe environment that is enjoyable and instils a lifelong education and appreciation of healthy living and wellbeing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Rowing Australia Level 1 Coaching Accreditation is required to undertake this role.
  • A current Victorian Marine Licence is also necessary.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid certification is essential.
  • National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (Volunteer or Employee status) OR a current VIT registration are mandatory requirements.
  • A Current Drivers Licence is required only for coaches who will drive the school bus.
