Graphic Designer Job Opportunity

The Rugby World Cup is searching for a highly capable and passionate Graphic Designer to join their team.

This role will be responsible for bringing creative graphic assets to life for Men's Rugby World Cup across Australia in 2027. The chosen candidate will work closely with the Global Marketing, Brand, and Content teams as well as Local Organising Committee teams to roll out branded assets required.

The successful applicant will support the production of localised assets for host cities and venues for use across promotional activities. They will also support the development of Tournament look and feel across various venues, non-match venues, team bases, conferences, etc.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Applying brand assets for Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 including social media, CRM, PR/editorial, outdoor, and earned media across the Tournament campaign and other assets as required.
  • Suggesting concepts and designs that align with World Rugby's brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues to deliver on mutual objectives.
  • Meeting deadlines and honouring commitments with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Being adaptable and flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.

A strong understanding of digital, print formats, colour spaces, and specifications is essential. Experience working with both small and large format printing, excellent planning and organisational skills are also required, managing multiple workstreams at once.
