Support Coordinator for Individual with Autism

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team in supporting a client with autism. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the client in accessing the community, participating in activities that support relationship building, and finding employment opportunities. They will also provide assistance with daily tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and general companionship and guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the client in accessing community resources and participating in activities that promote social interaction
  • Supporting the client in finding and maintaining employment
  • Providing assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, meal preparation, and personal care

Requirements for the role include:

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including afternoons on weekdays
  • Driver's Licence and fully insured car (preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening ID (preferred)
  • First Aid Certificate (completed within the last 3 years) (preferred)
  • CPR Certificate (completed within the last 12 months) (preferred)
  • COVID Vaccinations Inc. Booster as Per Vic Gov Requirements (preferred)
  • Working with Children's Check (preferred)

This is a casual part-time role, working approximately 8 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $34.72 - $43.90 per hour.
