The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Agile software development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the charge in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Test Execution and Management
    • Lead the execution of testing activities, including test case development, test data preparation, and test environment setup.
    • Manage and coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and projects.
  • Defect Management and Reporting
    • Analyze and report defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
    • Develop and maintain defect tracking and reporting processes.
  • Process Improvement and Knowledge Sharing
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
  • Desirable:
    • ISTQB Software Testing Certification or equivalent.
    • Experience with automated testing tools and techniques.
    • Knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies.
