The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Lead to join our Agile software development team. In this critical role, you will lead the charge in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will be responsible for managing all facets of software testing, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, and mentoring a team of talented testers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and implement test methodologies, processes, products, and tools in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Devising the appropriate method of testing individual and multiple software components.
  • Documenting all stages of the test process where appropriate, including test plans, test cases, test readiness reviews, platform testing technical notes, test summary reports, incident reports, and coordinating with the Software Technical Lead.
  • Test execution, peer review, results logging, and test result validation.
  • Assisting with requirements management for projects and software products.
  • Undertaking defect analysis and reporting, including liaison with project teams as necessary.
  • Escalating any issues (software, hardware, resources) to the Software Technical Lead/Project Manager.
  • Working collaboratively with a distributed team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience producing technical documentation.
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team.
  • Experience setting up test environments and performing test execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization/prioritization skills.
